Santa Fe Springs, Ca. —Retro skate style is everywhere and this dominant trend has got some major kick. Kryptonics has seen a demand for vintage styles of the 60s, 70s and early 80s and plans to do a major reissue are officially underway.
Whether you remember the original or not, you will definitely love the re-launch of the (Fall 2013) Krypstik. A faithful reissue designed for 70s pool shredding, this board can also work as a casual cruiser due to its comfort and smooth coasting abilities.
Fueling the skateboard scene since 1965, Kryptonics created the first Polyurethane wheel on the market. Since inception, the need to innovate hasn’t slowed down, thus launching the Krypstik, a 1979 classic design with generous 10” wide deck, distinctive cut-away rails and dyed-layers throughout. Like the original, this board is quintessential 70s style.
The grip tape is die-cut and split for nose and tail, just like the good old days. Polished, 169 mm trucks and 12 mm angled riser pads make for excellent carving. The pavement-friendly hand poured Kryptonics urethane 87A wheels, measure 60 x 44mm and makes this a super comfortable ride for street, pool or park.
It’s the surest way to entertain all nostalgic memories and perhaps help you create a few new ones.
